Bactoballs have a high porosity, which effectively removes harmful elements such as ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate from the water. Perfect as a biomedium in open and closed filters. Practical research by Back to Nature confirms that our Bactoballs ensure clear, healthy water thanks to their very high bacterial population. This ensures biologically stable water values in the aquarium. The round shape allows for perfect use of space in the filter and guarantees highly active biological colonization both outside and in the porous interior of the medium. Beneficial cleansing bacteria settle in the countless pores and reliably break down nitrates and other toxins. The medium can be used for long time, it is easy to clean if neccecary and is not suspectible to clogging. Bactoballs are suitable for freshwater, saltwater aquariums, and garden ponds.
