The CarboActiv high-performance filter pellet is a macroporous activated carbon for perfect absorpti
on of pollutants. The high macropore density mainly binds larger organic molecules such as unwanted
yellow substances and other organic decomposition products. Trace elements and plant fertilizers are
only slightly bound. Carbo Activ Pellet contains only very small amounts of phosphate due to exten
sive pre-cleaning and is therefore also suitable for marine aquariums.

High-performance activated carbon based on hard coal in pellet form. Steam activated.

Surface area: 950 m²/g Iodine value: > 900 mg/g.

Dosage:

• Up to 300 g Carbo Activ Pellet per 1000 liters of water using the floating bed method
• Use in the filter chamber in a filter bag or nylon stocking
• Replace the carbon every 3 - 4 weeks

Preparation before use:

Before use, rinse with hot water until the water clears. The noticeable hissing of the carbon indicates activation and immediate readiness for use
